Drawing inspiration from the Coffs Harbour topography and ‘Queenslander’ house typologies the strong form of the house anchors to the site and connects to a large ground terrace. A large open living area contains a wall of glazing that tilts to the north to capture sun and breezes and opens the house to a large aperture of landscape. The four bedrooms are divided around a central corridor by sliding doors that open and close the spaces as needed, provide cross ventilation and create an elegant simplicity in the articulation of the spatial experience.
