Designed with the health of the occupants as paramount the house planning creates different garden courtyards around which all the rooms cluster. This ensures maximum controllable sunlight and ventilation whilst creating spaces of different accessibility and character. The northern living area has a high, angled  roof over a wall of glazing to dissolve into the large courtyard landscape, blurring the line between inside and out. Material selection was based on low toxicity and minimal applied finishes.
